Game may be VERY confusing so let me try to explain.

Gellis produce essence on a timer. Different gellis produce essence at different rates.

You can convert essence into glim, and spend glim on food and more gellis

Click the ticket box to buy a new random gelli. (some are rarer than others)

Feeding gellis increases their happiness, and gives them a buff. This buff stays until their happiness runs out, so if you keep feeding them their buff will only get better.
